Not just the easiest way to keep your guests dry from A to B, an awning is the beginning of the journey. It presents the opportunity to set the scene or change the tempo. Either open sided in the height of summer or enclosed in the depths of winter, the awning is where it all starts and the final lasting impression.

BELVEDERE RANGE

Elegant and adaptable, open-sided or enclosed, the Belvedere range combines modern technology with sweeping roof lines. These structures are perfect for intimate dinners, grand entrances, retail units, covered bars and chill-out areas.

All models can be interconnected to create larger spaces and can be fitted with flooring, glazed windows and doors.

FREESPAN™

The bedrock of our structure range since 1982 when Managing Director, Stuart Pepper imported one of the first aluminium structures of its kind into the UK. There have been many variations since then, but the principal remains the same: an adaptable and portable temporary structure that can be dressed and decorated to your personal specification.

Peppers Marquees trademarked the Freespan™ name in 1992.

FREESPAN™ H

The H stands for heavy duty, and that’s exactly what this range is. The same silhouette as the Freespan™ range but with much higher loading capacities. Initially Introduced at 30m and 40m wide, we soon realised there was also demand for smaller widths with high loading capacities.

POLYGON

The Peppers Marquees Polygon combines high loading capacities with steep roof angles and straight legs, making it compatible with existing walling and glazing systems.

The Polygon was developed in response to two, independent challenges:

• A major UK fashion house needed a runway-show structure that could cope with huge lighting designs and had the height to allow the lighting to work as it should: casting minimal shadows from the models.
• Event organisers and designers were seeking a structure that could encompass entire or parts of buildings

MONO-PITCH

Developed with the late, great Ian Milton of Hoecker Structures. We came to Ian with the conundrum, “can half a structure be a structure in its own right?”

The Mono-pitch is an engineered solution allowing maximum views of landscape, garden and sky, making it ideal for fireworks displays, live shows and outdoors product launches.

BOARDED FLOORING

Our boarded floors are a cost effective and quick solution for use on flat surfaces. This system uses timber interlocking floor boards with aluminium jointers, laid on timber joists.

Also available with a steel sub-frame for additional stability, to level out undulations and for hard-standing surfaces.

TIMBER DECKING

Our tanalised timber decking boards offer a cost effective, durable and smart alternative to outdoor floor coverings. We also offer bespoke decking installation for terraces, ramps, steps and scaffold cladding.

CASSETTE FLOORING

An engineered flooring solution with all-weather flooring decks that fit seamlessly on to an aluminium sub-structure. Designed to be easily handled, transported and laid for quick results and a smart finish.

FABRIC LININGS

• Stock roof and gable linings available in White, Ivory and Black – all with a flat finish
• Single-use linings available in over 30 stock colours with a flat or gathered finish
• Special dye batches available in any Pantone colour
• Tack-off walls, gables, connections and fine detailing as standard
• Bespoke fabric work includes hand-pleating, French ceilings and frame wraps
• All lining fabrics are, re-used, re-purposed or recycled

PODIUM DECK BASE SYSTEM

As event designers demanded ever-more complex flooring configurations we looked well beyond existing solutions and developed our Podium Deck Base system in conjunction with a leading scaffolding manufacturer.

Together we created the first, purpose designed connection between a scaffold sub-frame and the structure mounted upon it. Our film-faced timber floor decks bolt directly to the scaffold framework.

This highly adaptable system allows us to build sunken and raised floor levels, mezzanine levels, stage bases and towers.

We currently stock over 10,000M² of our Podium Deck Base system.

TEXTILE FABRICATION

At Peppers we produce all of our textile requirements in-house and have long standing relationships with textile and fittings suppliers around the world.

Our Pvc department houses a state-of-art, automated high-frequency welder, operated by time-served craftsmen.

We welcome external Pvc fabrication commissions from all sectors, including other marquee and structure companies, construction, landscaping, automotive, education and agriculture.

Our fabric lining department produces all of our decorative linings in a wide range of colours and finishing styles.

CADESIGN

We have worked with 2-Dimensional CAD software for over 20 years and have harnessed it’s capabilities for a myriad of uses on countless projects. Our Contracts Managers have vast experience of designing and collaborating on project drawings and designs, and where required, will produce a 2-D site and structure drawing as part of the project planning process.

More recently we have also being using 3-Dimensional CAD software, but more as a problem solving technique rather than for graphic visualisations.
